Description:
This is a full box, 20 original rounds, of .38-70 W.C.F. ammunition manufactured by Winchester with 255 grain Soft Point bullets. The two piece green Smokeless box has an excellent cartridge cut and overall very good to excellent graphics with staining from old tape residue along the top and onto the side label with writing on the side label. The box has older glue repairs on the inside edges and is slightly bowed inward. The cartridges all have the "w" primers and are in excellent condition. A good to fine box in a scarce model 1886 caliber that only saw some 900 rifles originally built.
