Description:
28 inch barrels that are choked Improved Cylinder & Cylinder with bright very good bores showing some sparsely scattered light pitting. The barrels show a nice contrasting gray and brown Damascus twist pattern. The left tube shows a couple areas right around the forend where there are numerous small light impact marks, appearing to be a professionally raised light ding that is barely detectable on the interior. The lockplates and frame retain nice original case-hardening colors that are muting on the carry point and sharp edges. Quite vibrant on the lock plates. Checkered pistolgrip American walnut buttstock rates fine with crisp checkering and good edges with light handling marks. It has period sight base with windage numbers inletted into the stock just behind the tang. The staff however is no longer present.
