This is a very nice example of an early Colt Single Action Army from 1883. All matching, chambered in .45 Caliber, 7.5 inch barrel. Fitted with later black hard rubber grips. According to the included Colt Factory Letter, it was shipped to E.C. Meacham Arms Co in St Louis on February 5, 1883. We believe the gun was professionally restored. The finish rates somewhere between 85-90% with most of the wear being on the top of the frame. Minty bore. Smooth action.
