Description:
22 inch round nickel steel barrel chambered in 32 WS caliber. Full length magazine. Correct shorter forearm. Barrel has thinning blue turning gray while mag tube has more blue remaining. Marble No. 5 front sight and sporting rear. A good bore with visible rifling. Receiver is a gun metal gray patina. Traces of case color on the hammer and lever. Very crisp action. Walnut stocks are in good condition with some minor handling mars as well as some good traces of original varnish. Hard rubber shotgun buttplate. A good example of a special order Model 1894 Short Rifle from 1918.
