Description:
Up for your condsideration is a outstanding Colt Single action army Centennial model in caliber 44-40 with a 7 1/2 inch barrel. Gun appears New with the slightest drag mark in one side of the cylinder. I have had this fine revolver for some time, but I have never cocked it or fired it. This was the only second generation Colt made in caliber 44-40, and only 1500 made in 1972. This Colt is 52 years old! Gun looks new, case looks new as well. I did not get the paper original paper work from the owner I purchased it from. He bought it new. I can't verify it has ever been fired or not. These are supposed to be excellent shooters as well. They came with the etched panel, and were supposed to be made like the very early 1873 Colts. Even the cylinder is serial numbered like the early ones. This one needs a FFL transfer. Shipping is included in the price inside the continental US, if you would like insurance that would be extra. I ship USPS postal service. Gun and case are beautiful! Asset to any collection.
