"SN: None. French percussion pistol marked ""Manufacture at Versailles"" on the side plate. Has 8.5"" barrel with multi-groove rifling. The left side of the barrel flat is marked "" Boutet Directuer Artiste"". The stock is in good condition with excellent grip checkering. The Checkering is likely over the original checkering. Overall very fine condition. Boutet was the Gunmaker to King Louis XVI.
