For consideration is a Hart custom rifle built on an Interarms Mark X action in .270 winchester caliber. The 26" barrel is made and installed by Hart. Very high quality components are used throughout this rifle. It starts with an Interarms Mark X action, Hart .270 barrel, Leupold optics and a McMillan stock. The .270 Winchester caliber needs no introduction as it's one of the most popular calibers in the deer woods made popular in part as a result of the writings of Jack O'Conner. The Mark X action is based on the Mauser action with upgraded 3 position safety (very similar to the Winchester Model 70 safety). The action has a full length extractor. The rifle is in very good overall condition with only light handling marks. The design of the Leupold scope is quite unique in that the bottom of the bell is shaped to partially wrap around the barrel allowing a large front objective yet it can sit lower and closer to the bore axis. The bases and rings appear to be Leupold. The barrel has a bright bore with strong rifling. This fine custom Interarms Mark X would make a great deer rifle this year as it's all ready to go with a few sighting shots with your pet load.
