This is a pristine cased-pair of one of Arietta's top-quality models, the Model 802 sidelock-double, one in 20 and one in 12 gauge, both with 28" inch barrels. If you are looking for a pair of shotguns that make a statement for this dove season, these are it. Owning this set shows that you have a lot of class, you appreciate the better things in life, and you are serious about wing shooting. Arrieta of Spain is considered one of the finest top-quality handmade European shotguns available in the world today. The features and measurements on both of these exceptional shotguns are identical except the weight. The barrels are 28" long with .005" & .007" of choke in each barrel. Both guns have double triggers w/ an articulated front trigger, spectacular master-level Holland & Holland style hund-cut engraving, hand-detachable side locks, and automatic ejectors. The length of pull is 14-7/8", drop at the heel is 2-1/2" inches, and the drop at the comb measures 1-3/8" inches for both guns. The weight of the 12 gauge is 6 lbs 6 oz, and the the weight of the 20 gauge is 5 lbs 10 oz.. Both of these guns are in pristine like-new condition inside and out. Neither one of them has had more than 100 shotshells fired thru it since leaving the factory. The actions are all super tight and perfectly on face, and all of the controls on both guns are in like-new perfect working order. They dont get muych nicer than this, this is a pair of shotguns that you can be proud of owning at any dove field, quail plantation, or hunting lodge in the world. This is one hell of a lot of guns for the money.
