Pair of Colt Blackpowder Arms Co. Signature Series Colt 1861 Navy .36 Cal. percussion revolvers fitted with 7 1/2 inch round barrels, hand checkered on right side and American Eagle & shield carved on the left side one-piece Rosewood grips, approx. 70% coverage engraving with a wolf's head engraved on the hammer, and full antique silver plated finished. These appear to be General Custer Commemoratives but are not consecutive serial numbered (Note: The serial numbers appear to having been engraved, rather than stamped.). Apparently a one of a kind set. Comes in a Walnut presentation case with Colt Signature Series powder flask, bullet mold, nipple tool, (2) Eley Bros. cap tins, and (2) 6 cartridge combustible envelope boxes. Sorry no paper-work. Last 2 pictures are from the 1999 Colt Black Powder Catalog indicating these guns as Item #F1308 with a retail price of $1,095 each. NOTE: FFL Not Required.
