Up for sale is this nice, pre model 10, Military and Police, K-frame, .38 Special, Smith and Wesson Revolver. This is a 4-screw variant with a "C" prefix, and 397xxx serial number dating it somewhere between 1948 and 1956. The pistol shows honest wear for a firearm this age but the bore is nice and bright.
