Marlin Model 336 RC .30-30. Made in 1968, serial 6897519 has the Spiegel whitetail bust carved into the stock. Features include a 20-inch barrel (full-length magazine tube, hooded front sight with brass-beaded blade, elevation-adjustable rear sight), Weaver mounts (1-inch low rings), hammer spur and sling loops. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 7.4 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.5 inches. CONDITION: The bore is strong and bright. Metal finish is approximately 85 percent with trace thinning and a few spots of roughness on the magazine tube and band (left side, near muzzle). Wood is approximately 90 percent with a small scattering of impressions. The price is firm and layaway is available. $1,500 plus shipping.
