We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Shipping insurance is available upon request for an extra fee. We cannot do international sales. As of November 2019, we no longer ship guns to California and Hawaii.

Description:
The M249S is a semi-auto version of the famous M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW). As a semi-auto-only firearm, it fires from a closed bolt. Cycling is performed via gas-operation using a robust piston system. By default, it is air cooled. Being based on the M249, the civilian-legal M249S is a very resilient design and offers a high-level of durability and operability in even the worst conditions. Similarly, the 249S retains its military counterpart’s ability to quickly change barrels in order to extend their lifespan by preventing overheating. Most importantly, the M249S also has the ability to be fired using either belted 5.56 rounds from a 200 round drum or from the standard STANAG 30-round magazines. When properly maintained, the M249S can provide its owner with many, many years of reliable service. The 18.5 inch barrel is made of alloy steel and features a chrome-plated bore and chamber for a high resistance to corrosion. Twist rate is a 1 in 7 inches, suitable for stabilizing even the heaviest bullets available. The adjustable sights provide for bullet drop compensation (BDC) out to 1,000 meters. Sight radius is a respectable 21.25 inches. Overall length is roughly 40.75 inches. Width is 5.3 inches for the gun or 8 inches with the drum. The carry handle of course allows for the gun to be carried over relatively long distances. The folding steel bipod allows the M249S to be fired from nearly anywhere. The folding top cover has an integrated MIL-STD-1913 mounting rail for various sighting systems. The polymer buttstock features a hydraulic recoil buffer to reduce felt recoil. Operating controls include a crossbolt safety, a curved trigger for improved control, and a non-reciprocating charging handle. The M249S shown here is new in the box and comes with a drum for a 200-round belt, as well as one metal 30-round magazine. The cardboard box is not fancy but is thick-walled for strength. The snap caps shown in the pictures are for display purposes only and are not included with the rifle.
