For your consideration, a Harrington & Richardson M1 Garand chambered in .30-06 Springfield. Dubbed by General Patton as "the greatest battle implement ever devised," the M1 Garand faithfully saw the US through the Second World War and Korea and served many other forces abroad beyond. The bolt and barrel are likewise of H&R manufacture. The barrel is dated 4-55, while receiver dates to May of 1955. Stock markings consist of the (P) proof mark and a boxed eagle Defense Acceptance Stamp cartouche. .30-06 Springfield
