"Custom Danish Model 1867 sporting rifle. The overall length is approximately 40½”. The 25½” round 11.7x42Rmm Danish/Remington center fire cartridge barrel has an excellent bore. The metal is bright with areas of staining. The butt stock and forearms are checkered and are very good with the forearms having a missing chip at the left front. The action functions correctly. These rolling block rifles were made by both Remington and the Danish arsenal (marked “KSOBGNHAVN). This rifle is one made in Denmark. It is a good example of a European military rifle conversion to sporting rifle.
