Description:
New, iust finished Bucks County (Andrew Verner style) flintlock rifle. 40 caliber, A weight, Colerain swamped (tapered and flared) radius bottom groove barrel is 44" x 0.94"-0.67"-0.82". Chamber's golden age flintlock lock. Davis double set triggers. Curly maple stock (CM4?). Rifle is 60 3/4" overall length, 14 1/2" length of trigger pull, 3 1/2" drop at the heel. 7 lb 10 oz. Stock finished with Aqua Fortis and Laurel Mountain Forge stain. Lock and triggers have a faux color case hardening. German silver cheek piece. French gray applied to the barrel. Engraved by Mike Roby.
