Description:
Bob Lienemann crafted Leman 58 caliber rifle made for the remake of the move “The Alamo” in 2004. Bob worked with Jack Brooks and Mike Branson to make several rifles and pistols for the movie set Weighs 9 lb 4 oz. 1″ x 32 3/8″ barrel. 14″ length of trigger pull, 49″ overall length, 3 3/4″ drop at the heel. Quilted maple stock. Patch box door opener on the toe plate.
Bob provided the following: "Most of the rifles and pistols we three made for the Alamo movie were used in the movie. This particular rifle was in the early round, but deleted later.  When it was “in” for the Alamo movie, they asked us to tone down the white metal so cameras could handle it, thus the blue and tarnish added to the barrel and mounts.  Jack engraved the patchbox per my sketching, I did the rest. That is a special piece of wood."  Many thanks to Bob for the extra information.
