"Serial No. 36490, made in 1902, .30-40 Krag, 22"" round barrel marked ""Nickel steel barrel/Especially for Smokeless Powder"" forward of receiver is marked ""30 U.S."". Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling visible. Carbine has approximately 92% refinished blue remaining with majority of the wear visible on the magazine and lever. Rear sight has been removed and a Lyman peep sight added. Wood is very good as refinished with minimal surface nicks, dings and scratches visible. Action is tight and functions correctly. Carbine comes with a wooden carrying case with everything you need to maintain your carbine, one of the glass vials is broken and only one box of ammo is complete. This is a nice little set up that would make an awesome display piece! Ammo will have to be shipped separately.
