.. . LAYAWAY?,,,,.36 caliber, 7" octagonal barrel, Savage markings are on the top of the frame, in three lines and sharp and crisp. The metal is brown with some staining. The edges are sharp and crisp. The walnut grips are very nice with an old repair on the right grip. The initials PM carved into the top left grip. A cartouche in the bottom of the left grip is readable but worn. The action works nicely. One percussion nipple is worn down.
