Description:
Antique British snider- enfield breech loading rifle. "Tower" 1870 marked with 3 barrel bands. Caliber .577 snider. The overall condition is very good. The action is excellent and strong. The bore is shiny with several dark spots. The rifling is sharp. Some metal pitting is present on the barrel which is not unusual for a 150 year old rifle. The walnut stock is in excellent condition with some beautiful grain in the buttstock. The bayonet is in great condition with some pitting. OVERALL this is a very nice looking antique rifle.
