<SOLD>This M6 Scout by Springfield Armory CZ is a version of the original USAF Ithaca M6 Aircrew Survival Weapon of the 1950s. Springfield Armory produced the civilian version of the M6 Scout. CZ (Czech Republic) took over production from 1995 to 2004, the last year the M6 Scout was produced for SA.
This M6 Scout (sn R000011) has a lid & rubber insert to store 4 / 410s and 12 Hornets in the stock. It is also factory tapped for a mount located in front and just below the flip sights (refer to picture). It has a paracord sling and a paracord wrap around the barrels. Back in the 50s, Aircrew were instructed to wrap the barrels with parachute cord as a field expedient fore stock. Equipped with a flip sight, a V notch and a peephole.
