Winchester Model 70 bolt action rifle chambered in .30GOV’T’06. This rifle was made in 1938 in the U.S.A. This rifle is in great shape for how old it is. The stock has a some small scratches and marks on it but nothing real deep. The forearm has some marks and there is a dent on the left side under the Winchester stamp. The receiver and barrel do not have any rust, just a few small marks from normal wear. The cover for the internal magazine is stamped “-SUPER GRADE-“. This rifle comes equipped with a leather sling and a Bushnell 3x-9x Banner Optic. The optic has a couple scratches on the top. The Winchester Model 70 is “The Rifleman’s Rifle”, own this highly regarded classic.
The rear receiver bridge has been drilled and tapped to accommodate the scope that is equipped.
