Payment Types Accepted: Money order Description: This best quality James Lang 12 bore has 30" steel barrels, 2.75" chambers, and a flat matted rib. It was made in 1891 according to the records, a copy of James Lang's record book is included with this double, which includes all of Lang's guns! The gorgeous walnut stock has been repaired prior to my owning it. I've had it since 2019 and fired close to 1,000 reloads through it, she locks up very tight, and shoots great! LOP is 15 1/8" to the end of the leather covered pad, drop at heel is 2 1/2". The bores are good, the rear half of each barrel has some dark spots, but no deep pitting. One of my favorite aspects of this double is the engraving- every where is covered, even into the firing pin shells! That part is fairly unique, my gunsmith who grew up in the Birmingham gun trade commented on how unusual it was for engraving to be taken that far. I have a number of additional photos above the 15 allowed on here, I'd be happy to email them to you. This is a absolutely beautiful- and absolutely shootable- double! I wish you to enjoy this double, so if you purchase it, you will have a 3 day non-firing inspection period. I'll gladly refund your money, less shipping costs, in the unlikely even you are not happy with it!
