"USGI 3-piece World War II U.S. Army Air Forces M5 Hadfield Manganese steel aircrew flak helmet with hinged ear flaps & original olive drab shade 3 suspension. Overall condition is very good with original cork aggregate paint on the metal parts that is covered with a thin ""flocked"" covering to prevent skin from freezing to the helmet surface. The chinstrap is missing & the leather sweatband is broken but the helmet is otherwise complete & serviceable.
