"Serial number 1232. Made in 1862. 44 RF caliber with a 24" barrel. This is a presentation grade Henry with a factory original high polish blue on the barrel, factory engraved and silver plated frame and most importantly a Rosewood stock. The rosewood stocks were reserved for the highest grade guns with only roughly 15 or so being known. This gun is in fantastic condition with 95% of the original blue on the barrel. The frame is factory engraved with scrolls and silver plated. The silver has tarnished and has a very dark gray to almost black patina. The rosewood stock is excellent. This is one of the very finest Henry Rifles we have ever owned!
