MARLIN MODEL 39-A (made in 1941) take-down lever action rifle in .22 caliber rim fire (long rifle, long and short), 24" barrel with full length ammo tube, half-cocked safety, factory original Lyman open sights and original butt plate. The blu finish is 100% original and is in 95% condition. The once case hardened receiver has faded with hints and outlines of the case colors still present. The pistol grip walnut stock/forehand is all original and in 95% condition. (note the iconic "target" on the bottom of the stock). The bore, most importantly, is bright and glossy with perfect rifling...the lever action is smooth and solid. This rifle was made in 1941 with serial number B 4505 and is good for another 84 years.
