#SS0973, McMillan 280 Remington in Their Signature Model with a McMillan action, 24" barrel without open sights, Leupold bases with 30mm Leupold rings, 2-position safety on the right side of the receiver tang, Very crisp trigger, Straddle hinged floorplate with a center bow release, It was ordered with a McMillan walnut stock and a composite stock, It comes with both stocks, The walnut stock with Fleur-De-Lis checking with a ribbon pattern, Shadowline cheekpiece, Double screw sling eyes on the stock, Steel grip cap, 14 5/16" lop over a 1" pad, 8 lbs. 12 oz., The bore is as new, The overall condition on both metal and stock is 99% since built as a custom. This rifle will shoot 1/2" groups with loads developed by Match Grade Arms and those loads will be provided. It was shot less than 50 rounds. The name on the action is "Harris Gunworks Inc., Phoenix, Az". McMillan had sold his company to his business associate, Wesley Harris, in order to focus on just stocks. The deal was never finished but there were a few that went out with the Harris name on the action body. This is a total McMillan Signature Model and it came from the gentleman that ordered it from McMillan.
