Winchester – Model 70 – Pre 64 – 338 WIN MAG - Stk# C540
This Pre 64 338 Win Mag Winchester Model 70 was manufactured in 1960 and has a 24” tapered round blued barrel with a dovetail slot for a rear sight. The front sight has been removed. The metal and finish is in good to very good condition with minor usage wear. The bore is in very good condition with clean sharp rifling. It has a Redfield scope mount attached to the receiver. The Walnut stock with checkered wrist and forend is mounted with a ¾” red original Winchester recoil pad and sling swivels is in good condition with peeling finish, scratches and dents. Length of pull is 12-3/4”, overall length is 43-3/4”, and weight is 8.2 lbs. Our stock number is #C540.
