Description:
Red Cross Officer's daggers with hangers. No maker's mark. Nickel plated hilt fittings show minor surface hazing but no loss of plating. Superb detail to the Red Cross emblem. Rich orange, solid celluloid grip with minor wear. Blade is in great shape with only faint wear and no pitting. Minor nicks to the cutting edges. Complete with brown leather buffer pad. The blade is loose and requires tightening with a dagger wrench. Dent free nickel-plated scabbard shows minor speckling to bands but no damage to the pebbled panels. Scabbard throat is retained by two side mounted dome head screws. The dagger is complete with hangers showing light age/wear. The unmarked upper aluminum clip, oval buckles and slices retain much of the factory frosting with some wear to the lower clips.
