CIVIL WAR RARE & FINE COLT MODEL 1862 PERCUSSION .36 CAL. POCKET NAVY REVOLVER CA. 1863. 5 shot with 4 ½” octagon barrel with “ADDRESS COL. COLT LONDON” address and rare iron back strap and trigger guard. All matching in the 17.xxx range and 100% original and in fine to excellent condition with 50-70% original blue and modest amounts of case hardening on frame and lever. Perfect markings and 100% crisp “STAGE COACH HOLDUP” cylinder scene. Has nearly all the original varnish on the grips. Perfect working order and excellent bore and chambers. Scarce example with London barrel address but without British proofs on barrel or cylinder. Possibly sold out of bond prior to proofing to a Confederate purchasing agent for Blockade Runner shipment to a Southern port of entry. Interesting and extra nice all original condition. Reasonably priced.
