Inspections for returns must be done at FFL before leaving the premises. Returns require the gun in the exact same condition as it left the Seller. Revolvers should not be dry fired multiple times during inspection to avoid deeper turn lines on collectible guns.

Description:
Another beauty from my private collection! This is a gorgeous ROYAL BLUE Colt Python with the 4 inch barrel and in the factory case with 2 sets of grips and the plastic bag the gun was packed in with oil. This one has the original serial number labeled outer box which is seldom found with these now. I believe this was approaching the last years the Colt factory made the Python (maybe 98) so is important to collectors to own. Soon after, orders went to the CUSTOM SHOP and the Python Elites were made (I have those too).As everyone probably knows, after the stainless Pythons came out around 1983-84, Colt started putting rubber presentation grips with gold medallions on new Pythons being sold, or rubber finger groove combat grips on the later models that had no medallion and the Colt logo stamped into the rubber. This one came with Colt rubber combat grips shown in the photo. I added a set of checkered wood Colt grips with the Colt gold medallion and they will be included with the sale. This comes in the factory Colt molded case with the correct ORIGINAL labeled outer sleeve. I don't believe there is really a gun at 100% but I rate this as an easy 99% PLUS condition. There is a very faint turn line as shown in the photos. The cylinder face is free of deep carbon rings which makes me think this must not have been fired much if at all after the factory tests. I have a lot in my collection I will be slowly eliminating so let me know if this one doesn't do it for you and we can see if I have what you hope to buy. It pains me to let any go but getting old and no kids to leave them to but I am not desperate. Hopefully, the Good Lord gives me a few more years to enjoy "my babies" that took me a long time to find in this condition. Buyer pays shipping costs and insurance if requested.
NOTE: There is still some oil spots at the bottom of the trigger and a few small areas where I missed wiping it off before taking the pictures. I will send any serious buyer pictures with those areas wiped off before payment is sent if concerned.
When the gun is received at your FFL, all inspections and addressing concerns must be done in front of the FFL that received the shipment so there is a witness. Call me to discuss any concerns found during the inspection. I cannot be responsible for the condition of the gun and no returns once it leaves the presence of the FFL. The gun should not be dry fired multiple times possibly causing a deep turn line and the value of this collectible gun in this rare condition to decline. Returns require buyer to pay all shipping costs and FFL fees for both parties and shipping both ways and may be subject to a 10% restocking fee. Returns only allowed with everything in the exact same condition with all contents as shipped. I am not the original owner and I do not fire any in my collection. I am a private collector and not an FFL dealer. Like local stores selling a used handgun, "No warranty expressed or implied". It is recommended to have all collector pieces that are stored for year and haven't been fired much be inspected by a Gunsmith before firing. Guns will be shipped to FFL dealers only and a copy of their FFL license must be provided in advance for shipping estimates. No sales or shipments to California or other states with gun restrictions.
