#G92949, A 338 Winchester Magnum Fully Engraved and Custom Stocked on a Post-64 Model 70 Action with Controlled Round Feed Extractor, Custom installed 24 1/2" Krieger Chrome Moly barrel without open sights, 30mm S & K scope bases and rings, A Leupold 4.5 - 14 x 56mm VX-3L scope, Model 70 3-position wing safety, Model 70 trigger, Model 70 hinged floorplate with a frontal bow release, A very nice custom classic style stock by Accurate Innovations with an excellent piece of Claro Walnut with great feather and excellent color contrast, Their stock includes their proprietary aluminum bedding block that floats the barrel and action for maximum accuracy, It than was glass bedded at the recoil lug and at the rear guard screw, Point pattern checkering that is very well done, Shadowline cheekpiece, Ebony forend tip, Rosewood grip cap, Two screw sling eyes on the stock, 13 9/16" LOP over a 1" Decelerator pad, 10 lbs. 10 oz. with the Leupold scope. It was Engraved, by Terry Theis from Harper, Texas, on the receiver, scope rings, trigger guard and with a Leopard on the floorplate. Terry Theis is a member of the Firearms Engravers Guild of America. Randy Fite, a gunsmith in the Houston area, barreled the action and finished the rifle to a custom order. The bore is excellent plus, The overall blue on all the metal remains at 98%, The stock finish at 98%, The checkering is at 99%, This 338 Win. Mag. is accurate and it is Africa proven. This Piece has nice workmanship along with classic style, built tough and nice metal work.
