Description: Very unusual light weight back action toplever hammer rifle in clean original condition and unusual caliber for a German gun, express proofed for 6 grams (92grains) SP and 23,7 grams (365 grain) lead bullet. Shoots 2" L/R combinations at 75 yards with 42.5-45gr IMR4198 behind a 350gr Woodleigh 458 soft, albeit a bit high on the target with the fixed leaf. Barrels are 26" full octagon with matted tops as well as raised flat matted rib with original sights, one fixed one folding plus adjustable tang sight. Excellent bores w. crisp Henry rifling, tight as freshly rejointed. Set triggers with adjustable letoff (r adj screw missing). Springs and lockwork work correctly. Case is flaking on action, sharp engraving. Bbls have fresh rust blue and are very scenic. Unusually good wood for a German gun, some minor dings and scratches but no cracks, with strong checkering and very pronounced fiddle grain both sides. Forend slivers missing both sides.
