Description:
R F Sedgley special ordered with Deluxe stock which features buffalo horn fore tip beautiful European walnut 20 line per inch checking. Full length Springfield 1903 speed lock action with a hidden removable blind magazine. Original owner added the correct period redfield rings and mounts for the Karl Zeiss Zielklien scope which is crystal clear. Barrel is 24" length with original Sedgley barrel band front sight which is missing the hood. The stock has numerous bumps and bruises accumulated during its life in the field. This is a wonderful piece of American gun making history and a very underrated maker. You will search a lifetime trying to find another to replace this rifle.
