"NSN, circa early 1900’s, 8x52R, 29" round barrel. Rifle is in excellent condition; bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling visible. Left side of receiver is the Koishikawa Arsenal (Tokyo) marking, Siame relied on Japan to make approximately 40,000 of these rifles with many not surviving WWII. Stock has minimal handling and usage wear noted, action is smooth and functions correctly. This is one of the best we have seen in a long time and would fit nicely in any WWII collector!
