WESTERN VIRGINIA SILVER INLAID TIGER MAPLE PERCUSSION HALF STOCK RIFLE CIRCA 1840-50. 52” o/a with 36” octagon .36 caliber rifled barrel with original nickel blade front and semi-buckhorn rear. Brass patchbox and trigger guard. Brass side plate and forend plate. Fine tiger maple stock with pewter forend cap and 11 coin silver inlays. Double set triggers which are in working order. All original with the original patina on metal and finish on stock. Nice quality all original rifle. Original wood ramrod.
