Please note that the 300 Weatheerby was never offered as a standard caliber in any of the standard offerling by Remington. This rifle has been custom rechambered from 30-06 to 300 Weatheerby. The previous owner said the conversion was done by Remington, but I have no way to verify that fact. The model 725 ADL was only made from 1958 to 1962 with 16,635 units made in total. The rifle is in great condition and includes a Pachmayr recoil, Weaver 1" rings and scope base (not shown in photos) and a very nice 1 1/2" leather sling by Allen. There are no cracks, splits or large dents in the stock and the metal surfaces are in 80 - 85% condition for the original finish. The stock has a raised rib suitable for the use of a scope. The frons sight is missing the blade. The gun operates very smoothly. Here is a chance to own a nice Elk rifle from out of the past and do so at a great price.
