"NSN. Made circa 1820. 60 caliber with a 7 ¾" barrels. These are absolutely fantastic guns with deluxe feature after deluxe feature. These guns have and empire style form with the almost 90degree butts. The swamped barrels are pounce ground and have most of the original blue. Each barrels are gold inlaid with approximately 160 gold stars. Each bore has micro rifling with approximately 40 grooves. The stocks are highly figured with silver and Goold mounts. Each grip portion of this pistol is inlaid in both silver and pearl and the inlays are reversed on the other pistol. The bottom of the pistols are gold plated with vignettes of birds on the butt and just forward of the trigger guards. The ram rod pipes are solid silver. The trigger guards are engraved and the locks are engraved and polished. The quality is fantastic. These guns were made by Gounouilhou of Bergerac. These are absolutely Fantastic set of French Empire Flintlocks! (DALLAS LOCATION)
