Description:
This pattern of boot came into service with the Australian Army in 1942 making this an early pair being dated 1944 on the soles also on the sides and sole with broad arrow M standing for "1944". They also have various inspection stamps on the soles, as well as the numbers 6 and 5. The side is stamped W.210/421. They measure approximately 11 1/4 inches from heel to toe. They were used by the Australians in all the theaters of war in which they served including the Far East and Middle East. These boots are in almost new condition with no real wear to the soles or metal heel/toe. The leather is a bit stiff and in new of conditioning.
