This is a superb all original example of an early M1 Garand with a barrel date of 1-1-42, made a month after Pearl Harbor. It is all correct and appears to be a British WWII Lend-Lease gun as it has British proofs on the barrel. Although it is in super nice condition, it most likely saw combat after the D-day landings. It has all original components and had not been altered, re-arsenaled or updated. Most parkerizing is there and is all original. The stock is in excellent condition and has not been sanded or altered in any way. The SA GHS cartouches are sharp. The rifle comes with an original maker marked and dated sling.
This is an early all original WWII rifle that would be difficult to upgrade.
