Description:
Winchester Model 21 16 gauge with two barrel sets. Made in 1937 per the included factory letter, serial 7172 has 26-inch barrels (M/IM, ivory beads, 2.75-inch chambers, ejectors). Features include an automatic safety, two mechanical triggers and a beavertail forend. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 6.8 pounds. Length-of-pull is 14.0 inches over a leather-faced recoil pad, drops are 1.5 and 2.45 inches, and cast off is approximately .20-inch. CONDITION: Barrels are on face. Mechanics operate properly. Bores and chambers are bright and shiny. Wearing rust blue by Keith Kearcher (Oregon), barrel finish is approximately 97 percent. Six small pits on right side ahead of forend are under the finish. Receiver finish appears original and stands at approximately 80 percent. Wood is approximately 80 percent with a general presence of field impressions and finish rubbing. EXTRA BARREL SET: Made at the Winchester factory in 1952 and serialed to match, chokes are C/IC and a single steel bead is up front. Bores are bright and shiny. Ejectors kick out empties like the Democrat party did Biden. Metal finish (rust blue) is approximately 97 percent. The forend iron is serialed and the wood spiced/repaired around the latch with finish condition of approximately 90 percent otherwise. No box, case or additional accessories.
