"NSN, made in 1847, .54 caliber, 33"" round proofed barrel. Barrel is a bright light grey patina with mottled surface oxidation visible. Lock plate is marked with ""ROBBINS/KENDALL&/LAWRENCE/US"", Lock is dated 1847. Stock is very good with expected nicks, dings and gouges. Faint cartouche is noted with inspector marks rear of the side plate. The Brass furniture looks to have been cleaned at some time. Action functions correctly, approximately 10,000 were manufactured.
