"NSN, circa early 19th century, .75 caliber, 35"" round smooth bore barrel. Hollis & Sons logo on tail of lock. Metal is a smooth brown/grey patina with no pits. Brass parts have nice patina. Interesting feature is that the buttstock is somewhat larger than would be proportional to the rest of the musket, almost like a Hudson Valley Fowler Rear sight has two folding leaves. We do not know this specific model as it looks to be a put together. (DALLAS LOCATION)
