The Winchester 1873 is the evolution of the Winchester 1860. Chambered in 44-40 it became a commerical success and was even dubbed "The Gun that Won the West". In addition to it popularity in the US it also saw significant use across the globe for both military and sporting purposes. Many different varities were made.
For her is a Winchester 1873 Carbine. This version features a 20 inch Octagonal Barrel and is chambered in 44-40. Stock features an inlay of a flower in what appears to be a style similar to Pennsylvania Dutch folk art. Shows external pitting throughout. Has a scratch on right side of reciever. Barrel shows moderate amounts of pitting. Wood has moderate amounts of scratches and dings thoughout. Magazine tube fatures a small dent on the right side.
