Description:
This is a Canadian P37 Hi Power holster manufactured by Zephyr Loom & Textile, Toronto-based, manufacturer of Pattern 1937Equipment for the Canadian Army. This holster is marked Z.L. & T ltd 1944 on the inside of the flap with the Canadian acceptance mark. This holster is in excellent condition with only light age soiling, with minimal use. The 1st pattern holsters are quite rare and were only made for a few months in 1944. These were destine for the Chinese military, but that contract was canceled and these were brought into service with the Canadian and British.
