This is a single live round of .30 caliber Cup Fire ammunition for use in the Plant's Manufacturing revolver with Patent #24726 dated July 17, 1859. The rare cartridge has "P" head stamp for Phoenix Manufacturing Company and is in near excellent condition with slight dent near the bullet. Also included is a cut away section of a second cartridge showing the side view of a bullet in the case. They will make a great looking display with your Plant's Manufacturing Front-Loading pocket revolver used as private purchase arms during the Civil War.
