Manufactured in Spain, this 12 gauge back-action sidelock ejector game shotgun has round blued steel 28" demi-bloc barrels fit with ejectors, 2-3/4" chambers, a machined matte ventilated top rib fit with a steel bead front sight and solid side ribs. The bottom barrel is choked Modified and the top barrel Full. The left side of the top barrel is roll marked: 'AYA' over 'AGUIRRE & ARANZABAL' The coin finished action body is adorned with game scene engraving featuring ducks on the left lockplate and pheasants on the right lockplate with supporting English Arabesque scrolls. 'AGUIRRE Y ARANZABAL' is engraved on both sides of the action body. The underside of the action body has 'AGUIRRE Y ARANZABAL' inside a banner. The bolstered back-action sidelock ejector action is fit with quadruple bolting - double under locking lugs and double Kersten crossbolts, gold-lined cocking indicators, gold plated lock parts, detachable locks with a recessed-flush lift-up latch, double intercepting sears and double triggers with the front being articulated that are protected by a blued & scroll engraved right side rolled trigger guard extending to a scroll engraved bottom tang with relief engraved serial number and a blued and scroll engraved top lever with left side of the thumbpiece checkered. On the top tang ahead of the engraved and scored automatic slide safety is engraved 'S'. Best quality walnut stock with pistol grip, 14-1/2" LOP to a AYA checkered butt. 3-Piece fore-end with engraved Deeley style lever release. 7 Lbs. - 10 Oz. Shotgun lives in the makers single leather case.
