This very fine almost as new Model 1858 Remington replica .44 caliber revolver was made in 1970 in Italy, It has an as new bore in an 8 inch barrel. It is in very fine condition and there are no signs that it has ever been fired. It was marketed by Hawes Firearms Company. These revolvers were the best of the Civil War revolvers with the solid frame and the ability to change cylinders without taking the gun apart.
