Description:
This is an original WWII Italian Army Bustina Cap with rank & cap badge. This fine green gray wool field cap features fold down side panels are held together over the crown of the cap by two corresponding hidden snaps. The front visor is in the upright position. To the front is a very fine embroidered gold thread hat badge on dark green felt background. The rank on the cap appears to be that of a Cadet and the badge is from the 9th. The inside of the cap has some small tears in leather and a fine liner of what appear good silk or nylon. Excellent addition to any collection
