"Serial No. 2264, circa 1863-1864, .52 caliber, 20" round barrel. Metal has turned to a brown patina with scattered surface oxidations noted. Traces of original case coloring can be found on the receiver; serial numbers are matching. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling noted.
