J.C. Higgins Model 583.21 - Bolt Action - 16 Ga. Shotgun - Smooth one piece pistol grip style stock and forend with cushioned butt pad. 26 In. long barrel with Full choke and front bead sight. Bolt action 5 + 1 , 16 Ga. x 2.75. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining 95% bluing. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. Overall condition is excellent. Shotgun appears to have had very little use. Manufactured for Sears by High Standard from 1946 to 1958.
